Hello
I'm a new member in this great Forum, and I'd like to ask if Interpreting skills are gained by personal efforts, or there are real professional institutions that adopt and patronize such programs '' In the Arab World especially in Syria or Lebanon'' ? I'm keen to hear from you and thank you for accepting me as a member. Last edited by Ayman Saiboura; 07-21-2009 at 05:41 PM. |

It is basically a skill that can be personally developed. If interested, I can give you some lessons. Regards Mar

A trainee is first of all asked to consider previous courses published in the forums. Then, you can request a course and wait for a trainer to set a placement test for you.
All trainers are contributing to the site on a voluntary basis, which means not all of them are free all the time to give a course. Anyways, as I said earlier, it is important they you review all previous courses. New lessons and tips will be given to you and Ayman on simultaneous interpreting. Meanwhile go to the following site and download a movie of lessons under the title DEATH by Shelly Kagan. The transcript is available there as well. www.academicearth.com
