Registration Instructions

We regret any inconvenience, but members who were registered in our previous system are required to register again. This is a Job Board system. It is totally different than the old system. It is similar to the system used by major translation websites such as Proz.com and Translatorscafe.com. When you register, create your profile, and create your resume, you will automatically receive Job Postings which match your qualifications.

Registration Instructions - Linguists

Linguists can register in three simple steps, designed to ensure the integrity of the registration process:

1. Complete the initial registration form. You will receive an email message confirming your registration, and giving you instructions on step 2.

2. Add your profile. The profile contains basic information about you. Your will receive an email confirmation.

3. Sign-in and create your resume. Once you create your resume, you will become visible to agencies and visitors searching for linguists.

Registration Instructions - Agencies

Agencies are required to register then post a job. Jobs are circulated to qualified linguists who satisfy requirements. Linguists can then contact the agency directly or through the website email facility.

You can register as a linguist, or as an agency. You can also register as both a linguist and and agency. Jobs can be posted by agencies. Jobs can also be posted by linguists.

How to post your Resume and/or Job Ad

After completing your registration process, you must create a resume (linguists) or post a job (linguists and/or agencies).

1. To post your resume, log in, the following screen appears:

2. Click on the Resume button on the left side of the screen. The following screen appears:

3. Complete the required fields, then press Submit.

4. Your resume will not appear on the website until it is approved by Member Services. This measure is intended to protect the integrity of the database.

 

To post a job, log in, the following screen appears:

1. Click on the Job Posting button on the left side of the screen.

3. Select a category, then press Next.

4. The following screen appears:

5. Complete the required fields, then press Submit.

6. Your Job Posting will not appear on the website until it is approved by Member Services. This measure is intended to protect the integrity of the database.
