My freelance translation work includes Arabic to English and English to Arabic translation for organizations ranging in diversity from politics and current affairs to architecture and engineering. Linguistically, I am a balanced bilingual in English and Arabic with native speaker proficiency in both languages. I was raised in Britain where I lived and attended school for 10 years in London and Surrey. I have equal linguistic abilities in both languages. Furthermore, you will find that my academic background and work experience, which are mentioned below, have played a major role in enhancing my language awareness and linguistic expertise in English and Arabic. All these elements aid me in meeting the main challenge of any translation work, which is producing the target language with the same meaning, flow and character as the source language.     

Academically, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Translation from Alexandria University’s English Department. I also hold accredited qualifications as an instructor, trainer, interviewer and HR specialist from Cambridge University: CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), and BULATS and IELTS certification. In May 2006 I received the Cambridge International Certificate in Human Resource Management at advanced level, which I passed with merit.
